Cheil Hong Kong and Paul Chan’s dominant run at the top of the Campaign Brief Asia Hong Kong Creative Rankings continues: Publicis rises to #2
Cheil Hong Kong has once again claimed the top spot in Hong Kong’s Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings, securing its position as the city’s most awarded agency at global and regional advertising award shows over 2024 and 2025. This year Publicis Worldwide Hong Kong rose up to the #2 ranking, while TBWA\Hong Kong is #3, slightly ahead of Ogilvy Hong Kong and DDB Hong Kong.
Cheil Hong Kong has dominated the Campaign Brief Asia Hong Kong Creative Rankings since 2018. In an outstanding 2025 performance, the agency continues to dominate, winning awards at all 12 shows included in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings. Over the past two years, Cheil Hong Kong has accumulated a total of 2270 Creative Ranking points. In 2025 alone, it earned 1460 points, with standout performances at AWARD Awards and One Asia Awards. In 2024, the agency secured 810 points.
Award-winning campaigns in 2025 included Safe Sketch, Toxic Backfire, The Touch Annual Report, Ghost Skins and more.
Publicis Worldwide Hong Kong moved up from #3 last year to claim the #2 position in 2025 with 955 Creative Ranking points. The agency was recognized at New York Festivals (NYF) 2025, as well as at The Work 2024 and 2025, AdFest 2025, LIA 2024 and NYF 2024.
At #3 is TBWA\Hong Kong who just edged out equal #4 ranked agencies Ogilvy Hong Kong and DDB Hong Kong.
At #6, Noah Workshop tallied 255 points, rising from its 2024 ranking of #10 and marking a significant move up the leaderboard.
Cheil Hong Kong again dominated the individual Creative Rankings for 2025, with their creative team filling up all top 10 ranking positions. The agency’s CCO Paul Chan leads the way again – amassing a huge total of 2410 points, ranking him among the most awarded and highests ranked creatives in Asia. Chan edged out #2 by just 115 points, thanks to him also being involved with the Samsung ‘Toxic Backfire’ campaign.
At #2 is Lili Jiang, who scored 2295 points overall, with 1405 of those coming in 2025. Both Chan and Jiang won awards at all 12 award shows included in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings.
The third spot is a tie between Kavieng Cheng and Kerry Fan, both from Cheil Hong Kong, each accumulating 1845 points. Cheng and Fan sit narrowly ahead of Ivan Au at #5. Rounding out the top 10 are Tung Hei Lui (#6), Jackie Wong (#7), Tony Chan (#8), Elsie Lau (#9), Guolin Lu (#10).
Noah Workshop Hong Kong’s Asawin Phanichwatana has ranked #11, just 5 points ahead of Halo Chen and Miriam Yip from Publicis Groupe Hong Kong, each scoring 400 Creative Ranking points.
Marcin Brzezinska of Grey Hong Kong has 340 points. TBWA\Hong Kong also features in the leaderboard, with Mike Choy securing 240 points. Completing the top 20 are creatives such as Francis Wong (Publicis Groupe, 235 points), Ella Wong (Ex-Ogilvy, 230 points), Kerwin Choy (Ogilvy, 230 points) and Liza Geysens (Ex-Ogilvy, 230 points).
