Leo Taiwan retains #1 spot in Campaign Brief Asia’s Taiwan Creative Rankings: Ogilvy, Dentsu Creative, VML and ROCK YU make up the top 5

Leo Taiwan has retained its #1 ranking in Campaign Brief Asia’s 2025 Taiwan Creative Rankings. The agency made a leap from #6 in 2023, and its strong awards performance in 2024 sees it hold the top spot – 80 points ahead of #2 ranked Ogilvy Taiwan.

An interesting finding from this year’s Taiwan Creative Rankings is the stability at the top: the top four most awarded agencies remain unchanged from last year. The 2025 top four are Leo Taiwan, Ogilvy Taiwan, Dentsu Creative Taiwan and VML Taiwan. Newcomer ROCK YU Creative Taiwan is equal #4.

Most of Leo Taiwan’s awards success comes from the 2024 calendar year, including major wins at Cannes, One Asia, and Spikes Asia for campaigns “Paper Organs” and “Hear My Last Wish.” The agency leads the Taiwan Creative Rankings with 1,440 points.

More than half of Ogilvy Taiwan’s points were earned in the 2025 awards year, positioning the agency strongly for next year’s rankings. Ogilvy’s wins this year include One Show, LIA, Clio, AdFest, and The Work, largely for Luckin Coffee’s “Moutai Latte” campaign. The agency’s 1,300 Creative Ranking points put it just 80 points behind Leo Taiwan.

Dentsu Creative Taiwan ranks #3 in the market with 965 points, having earned most of them in the 2025 calendar year, similar to Ogilvy.

At equal #4 is VML Taiwan and new independent agency ROCK YU Creative Taiwan with 275 points. Medialand Digital Strategy Taiwan ranks #6 with 255 points.

Leo Taiwan’s creative team behind the Taiwan Organ Sharing Registry and Patient Autonomy Promotion Center campaigns, “Paper Organs” and “Hear My Last Wish,” also top the individual Taiwan Creative Rankings, sharing equal #1 honours. The team comprises Eric Lin, Hao Tseng, Kumi Ku, Yao Song (Taiwan’s #1-ranked creative last year), and Yuan Chuang, each with 1,380 points.

At #6 are Ogilvy Taiwan creatives Bing Shen, Sweemy Cui, and Zhenbao Wang, each with 450 points. Freelancer Guang-Che Huang ranks #9 with 380 points, following a stint at Leo Taiwan.

Rounding out the top 10 are four Ogilvy Taiwan creatives: Gene Wu at #10, Kimi Tseng and Zoe Tsai at #11, and Andrew Feng and Orca Yu at #13. These teams contributed to Ogilvy’s LIA Grand Prix-winning HPV cancer prevention campaign, “The Life Bureau,” in 2024.

Dentsu Creative Taiwan Chief Creative Officer Alice Chou is ranked #15.
