Brave and Company wins Taman Safari Indonesia Group for cross-market KOL campaign
Indonesian independent agency Brave and Company has been appointed by Taman Safari Indonesia Group to lead a regional KOL campaign promoting Taman Safari Bali and Marine Safari Bali targeting key inbound markets including Malaysia and South Korea.
The appointment sees Brave and Company handling end-to-end influencer strategy and execution, with a focus on family and lifestyle creators who resonate with multi-generational travellers. The campaign is designed to position Taman Safari Bali and Marine Safari Bali as a complete family safari destination, going beyond traditional wildlife experiences.
Built around the platform “Exciting Journey Beyond Wildlife Paradise”, the campaign highlights three key pillars: play, discovery, and conservation, bringing to life a holistic travel experience that blends safari adventure with Balinese culture.
As part of the campaign, Brave and Company curated a roster of family, parenting, and travel KOLs across Malaysia and Korea, prioritising creators with strong engagement on Instagram and TikTok. Content focused on showcasing safe and immersive wildlife encounters for children, educational experiences, and family-friendly facilities, alongside cultural touchpoints unique to Bali.
Strong early performance has validated the campaign approach. The campaign delivered over 35,000 total views, 22,000+ reach, and 39,000 engagements, with an average engagement rate of 18.2%, significantly above typical industry benchmarks for KOL campaigns.
Key experiences such as Mara River Safari Lodge, Tsavo Lion Restaurant, and the Safari Night programme were featured prominently, reinforcing Taman Safari Bali’s also Varuna Bali is Indonesia’s first underwater theater and fine dining destination make positioning as more than just a zoo, but a destination for meaningful family bonding and educational travel.
