Income Insurance and Leo Singapore explore contrasting travel experiences in ‘Worlds Apart’

Income Insurance Limited (Income Insurance) has partnered with Leo Singapore to release “Worlds Apart”, the latest chapter of its Happy Travellers platform. The five-part travel show follows two travellers as they journey through China, uncovering how one destination can be experienced in complete different ways. Through their journey, the show captures the joy of travel and the moments that make travel unforgettable.

As travellers increasingly embrace different ways of exploring the world, from seasoned globetrotters seeking new thrills to inexperienced travellers stepping into unfamiliar experiences, “Worlds Apart” shines a spotlight on diverse perspectives, experiences and memories that shape every journey. While no two travel experiences are the same, unexpected disruptions can happen to any traveller. This underscores the importance of having travel insurance coverage to help manage unexpected travel disruptions. As Singapore’s most trusted travel insurer, according to a survey by NielsenIQ (2023-2025), Income Insurance helps travellers focus less on the “what ifs” and more on making meaningful memories.

Set across some of China’s most captivating destinations, “Worlds Apart” unfolds over five episodes – each one captured through the lens of travel content creator Jerome, who has explored over 40 countries, and experienced everything from the thrills of extreme adventure, to the rich experiences and warmth of local cultures.

At the heart of the show is a deeply human story centred on Delvina, a 30-year-old who has spent most of her life dreaming of the world beyond Singapore. For many Singaporeans, travelling abroad is a familiar part of life. For Delvina, however, it remained a long-held dream. Limited by time and financial circumstances, exploring the world had always felt out of reach, making this first journey even more significant and emotional.

Together, Jerome and Delvina travel through China, sharing the same itinerary but experiencing it through entirely different lenses. From witnessing a first sunrise in a foreign land to navigating unfamiliar streets and embracing spontaneous adventures, each episode captures the contrast between a veteran traveller’s confidence and a new explorer’s sense of awe. Through their unique perspectives, the series reveals that the magic of travel isn’t defined by how many places you’ve been, but by the moments that move you.

“Worlds Apart” is a celebration of discovery, connection and the countless ways people experience the world. Through the show, Income Insurance hopes to inspire more people to embrace new experiences and explore the world with greater peace of mind.

“What drew us to Delvina and Jerome’s story was the reminder that travel isn’t measured by how many places you’ve visited, but by how deeply you experience them. Through their contrasting perspectives, “Worlds Apart” celebrates curiosity, connection and the joy of discovering something new. We hope it inspires more people to embrace travel with confidence, knowing they have the protection and peace of mind to focus on the moments that truly matter.” said Dhiren Amin, Chief Customer Officer, Income Insurance.

“The same world, seen through different eyes, becomes something entirely new. Delvina and Jerome’s journey captured the true freedom and joy of travel when you know you’re covered for whatever comes your way,” said Asheen Naidu Group Executive Creative Director, Leo Singapore.

The show is now available on Income Insurance’s YouTube channel and StarHub TV+. Beyond the full episodes, content from “Worlds Apart” will be extended across media through shorter social and digital cutdowns and platform-specific storytelling assets. This allows the series to reach audiences across different touchpoints while continuing to reinforce Income Insurance’s Happy Travellers platform.
