IMPACT BBDO, Dubai wins inaugural Democracy And Human Rights Grand LIA

The inaugural Grand LIA went to IMPACT BBDO, Dubai for ‘The Untaught History Edition,’ created for AnNahar. The campaign was also awarded two Gold and a Silver Statue. The Unicorn Films Mumbai also picked up a Silver for Goel TMT’s ‘Band Baaja Bitiya’.

Led by Jury President Anthony Chelvanathan, Global Creative Partner & CCO of Edelman Canada, the Democracy and Human Rights jury has completed its deliberations and revealed the category’s inaugural Winners & Finalists.

Developed with support from the European Parliament, Democracy and Human Rights recognizes work that uses creativity to advance free expression, fair representation, accountability and essential freedoms, with meaningful impact at a local, national, continental or global level. This year, the jury awarded a Grand LIA, six Gold, six Silver and six Bronze Statues, alongside seven Finalists.
