Heckler Singapore wins VFX Gold and takes home Best Of Category at Creative Circle Awards

Heckler Singapore has won a number of medals at the recently held Creative Circle Awards, including Gold in the VFX category for Greenpeace music video ‘MoneyTrees’, which also took out the coveted Best Of category.

Other notable wins include Silver in VFX for the studio’s SK-II Maison Kitsune campaign, a Bronze in Direction for Mandarin Oriental’s rebrand launch campaign, along with two Bronze awards in Animation for Fanta’s #WhatTheFanta and Riot Games’ music video ‘Undefeated’.

Led by Heckler Singapore creative director Cody Amos, Greenpeace ‘MoneyTrees’ saw the VFX specialist team join forces with Studio Birthplace directors Jorik Dozy and Sil van der Woerd to create unforgettable visual effects on the striking music video. Launching on International Biodiversity Day, the music video cautions audiences with a stern wakeup call to end the corporate destruction of nature.

Cody Amos says: “Gold and Best of Category for VFX! Suffice to say, we are all really chuffed. Big thanks to the team at Studio Birthplace for trusting us with such a playful but meaningful project.

“What a way to kick off 2025! It means a lot to me and the whole team at Heckler, to get so much recognition at such a great Gongs event. We like to think Heckler has enough of a mix of talented humans to be able to do anything, and getting awards for Animation, VFX, and Live-Action Direction, makes me think we might be doing alright.”

Given the studio’s recent foray into production, Heckler Singapore managing director & executive producer Charu Menon is also pleased to take home a win in the highly coveted Direction category for Mandarin Oriental’s brand relaunch campaign.
