BBDO Bangkok and Mum Films release final four ‘Sex Talk’ episodes for Thai Health Promotion Foundation

BBDO Bangkok has released episodes 3 to 6 of their ‘Sex Talk’ series, that demonstrates how most Thai parents avoid discussing the topic of sex with their children as they believe it is a shame topic and feel inadequate.

As a consequence, children are prone to consult about sex with their friends or find information from the internet rather than from their parents, which could lead to misapprehension about sex.

Thai Health Promotion Foundation has always played a part to encourage parent-child sex communication as they believe that it can reduce children’s at-risk sexual behavior. Their role is to change Thai parents’ attitude towards sex, to provide guidance on how to start a conversion and also correct information about sex.

The ‘Sex Talk’ campaign was created via BBDO Bangkok to illustrate how to be the parent that their children can freely discuss sex with. The Production Company is Mum Films.

There are six episodes in the series and a TV commercial. The story is told through an ideal family of five, each kid encounters different sexual issues. Each episode focuses on one sexual issue with a solution and Dos and Don’ts. Furthermore, the film also introduces a website, developed by Thai Health Promotion Foundation aiming to provide knowledge about sex education and useful information for parents.
