Cheil PengTai Beijing creatives have taken out the top 4 spots in the 2023 Campaign Brief Asia China Creative Rankings. The #1 ranked creative in China is Timothy Tian, followed by Kimmy Liu, Leslie Liu and Xiaoguang Ren.
Tian has scored 1930 points and won awards in 2022 at all 11 award shows included in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings. In 2023, Tian picked up multiple awards including Gold’s at AdFest, One Show, Cleo and Spikes.
Kimmy Liu has ranked at #2 in China with 1900 points also scoring awards at all 11 award shows in 2022 and at AdFest, One Show, Cleo, Spikes and .
Cheil PengTai’s most successful campaigns over the ranking period were Samsung ‘Quest for Dyslexia’ and “The Cost Of Bullying”.
At equal #3 are Cheil’s Leslie Liu and Xiaoguang Ren on 1455 points.

Only 5 creative points behind in #8 position is Jody Xiong from The Nine Shanghai. His 775 points came from award-winning performances at D&AD 23, AWARD Awards 22, AdFest 22, MAD Stars 22 and Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 23 + 22.
In #9 with 655 points is TBWA\BOLT Shanghai’s Doris Chen. Chen performed evenly over 2023 and 2022 picking up 345 and 310 points, winning a Grand Prix and Gold at One Show 2023 and other awards at Clio 23, AdFest 23, Spikes Asia 23, Cannes 22, LIA 22, MAD Stars 22 and Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 23 + 22.
Sonja Xu and Zita Zou from Tencent have come in at #10 and #11.

Three creatives from TBWA\Media Arts Lab Shanghai’s rank at equal #16. Carrol Shen, Darren Leong and Ewan Yap won awards at AdFest 23, Cannes 22, One Show 22, D&AD 22 and Spikes Asia 22.
TBWA\Media Arts Lab’s Alfred Wong, Aser Cao, Brian Ma and Joey Chung, along with The Nine’s Candy Chen rank equal #19 with 490 points.
