Cannes Film Lions: Vicks ‘One in a Million’ by Publicis Singapore nets 4 shortlists; Thailand Agencies share 5 shortlists

Publicis Singapore has a healthy 4 shortlists for Vicks “One in a Million” on the Cannes Film Lions released just minutes ago. In total Asia had 15 entries on the list that will compete for metal in the next round of judging. 262 entries globally made the final shortlist.

 

Party Tokyo has two entries that made the cut with “Lungs” and “Fat” for Bodypedia included.

Thailand agencies also put up a strong showing with five shortlists shared by four agencies. Ogilvy Thailand has 2 entries that are shortlisted – Charoen’s “Gratitude” and Thai Life Insurance’s “Mother Knows Best”.

GREYnJ United is shortlisted for “Face/Off” by K Plus Kasikorn Bank; MullenLowe Thailand made it through with Chainrite “Termite-ator”; and Kit Pben Lert Bangkok made the cut with “The Rooftop” Quit Smoking Campaign.

There was good news for Malaysia in the category with Leo Burnett’s powerful “Bystander” spot for Voice of the Children included on the shortlist.

China had a shortlist with Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai’s “Nike – Just Do It”.

Taiwan Life Insurance ASDAD “The Third Wish” made the cut for McCann Taiwan.

And lastly, Wunderman Thompson Mumbai’s “Blink. And They’re Gone” for the Jimmy Nelson Foundation was also included.
