39 entries from Asia make the finalist stage of the 46th AWARD Awards: Hong Hong, Thailand and The Philippines the top performers

Finalists for the 46th AWARD Awards have been announced today, with 39 entries from Asia being named. By region, Hong Hong is the top performer at the finalist stage with 12, followed by Thailand and The Philippines with 8 finalists.
The work with the most entries includes: Cheil PengTai Beijing & Cheil Hong Kong’s “Ghost Skins” (5 finalists),
CJ WORX Thailand’s “The Ordinary Life Hearing Test” (4), The Nine Shanghai’s “Magnificent” (4), Cheil Hong Kong’s “The Sound of Violence” (3) and Innocean Seoul’s “Night Fishing” (3).
In The Philippines, GIGIL has 4 finalists: “Summer” (2), “Steal” and “Germ Z”.
TBWA\SMP also has 4, with both “Washtag” and “Last Broadcast” with 2 each.
Cheil Hong Kong’s “The Touch Annual Report” (2), brings the agency’s tally to 10 finalists.
All with 2 finalists are: Wolf BKK for “Uncle KFC’s Rice Bowl”, Leo Hong Kong for “Rerighting History”, TBWA\ Thailand Juice for “The Match That Sells” and Apple TBWA\Media Arts Lab ISEA for “Work Is Worth It”.
INNOCEAN Seoul’s “The Life-Saving Bathhouse” and Heckler Singapore’s “Earth Defender” also made the cut.
Bear Meets Eagle On Fire leads overall with 48 finalists.

The winners of the 46th AWARD Awards—including Gold, Silver, Bronze, and top-ranked Special Award recipients—will be revealed during an in-person ceremony at This Way Up, Australia’s Advertising Festival of Creativity, on Thursday 14 August at Doltone House in Sydney.
This year, all accolades will be announced live on the night, and will be followed by an industry celebration.
