Ogilvy Malaysia edges out Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur for the #1 ranking in the 2023 Campaign Brief Asia Malaysia Creative Rankings

With 270 creative ranking points in this year’s Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings Ogilvy Malaysia is the #1 ranked creative agency in Malaysia. Ogilvy move up from their #6 ranking in the 2021 Creative Rankings. Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur is ranked a very close #2 with 255 points. At #3 is Muma Malaysia.

 

The highlight of Ogilvy Malaysia’s awards haul was a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions 2022 for their Cadbury ‘Flags of Generosity’ campaign. This year the agency has made an impressive rise up the Malaysian Creative Rankings moving up from #6 in 2021 to #1 in 2023.

Ranked at #2 for the third Creative Rankings in a row, Leo Burnett were good performers in Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2023 and 2022 across a wide body of clients including; Heineken, McDonald’s, Samsung, Mondelēz International, WWF Malaysia, Disney+ Hotstar, Dutch Lady Milk and Maxis.

Muma Malaysia has ranked #3 this year with 210 points. They scored 180 of their points in 2022, the most from any Malaysian agency, winning awards at AdFest, Spikes Asia and Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 23 + 22.

Grey Worldwide scored 105 points to rank at #4, just 15 points ahead of FCB SHOUT and VMLY&R in equal #5 in Malaysia.
