Dentsu Inc Tokyo continues their reign as Japan’s top ranked agency in Campaign Brief Asia’s Creative Rankings; TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo retain hold on #2 and Geometry Ogilvy Tokyo ranks #3
Dentsu Inc Tokyo has once again topped the Campaign Brief Asia’s 2023 Creative Rankings for Japan. Both TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo and Geometry Ogilvy Tokyo have retained their positions as the #2 and #3 ranked agencies in Japan.
Both Dentsu and TBWA\Hakuhodo have performed stronger so far in 2023, than in 2022.
With 2345 points the #1 ranked, Dentsu Inc Tokyo had their three strongest creative performances at Cannes 23, AdFest 23 and One Show 23. They also won at Spikes 23 + 22, D&AD 23 + 22, Clio 23, LIA 22, MAD STARS 22, One Show 22 and AdFest 22.
TBWA\Hakuhodo’s haul of 1500 Creative Ranking points came from consistent performances across many award shows including AdFest 23 + 22, Spikes Asia 23 + 22, Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 23, D&AD 23, Cannes 23 +22, Clio 23 + 22, New York Festivals 23 +22, LIA 22, One Show 22 and AWARD 22.
Rounding out Japan’s unchanged top 3 agency chart is Geometry Ogilvy Tokyo in #3, with 600 points. Geometry Ogilvy’s top performance was in CB’s THE WORK 23. They also won awards at LIA 22, D&AD 23, Spikes Asia 23 + 22, One Show 23, Clio 23 and CB’s THE WORK 22.
Both Grey Group Tokyo and Six Inc Tokyo have scored 480 points and are ranked at equal #4.
Grey has picked up all their points in 2022, with a strong performance at Spikes Asia and award wins at AdFest, Cannes and Clio.
Six Inc won awards at Cannes 23 + 22, New York Festivals 23, Spikes Asia 23 + 22, Clio 23, AdFest 22 and One Show 22.
Beacon Leo Burnett Tokyo has ranked #6 with just 20 more points than #7 placed Hakuhodo Kettle Tokyo, who are followed closely by Hakuhodo Inc Tokyo in #8.
