Dentsu Inc Tokyo has again ranked #1 in Japan following the release of the 2020 Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings. With 4350 points Dentsu Inc Tokyo is takes out the Japan Creative Agency of the Year award.

 

In a consistant high ranking performance Dentsu Inc Tokyo scored 2065 Creative Ranking points in 2018, 1830 Creative Ranking points in 2019, and 455 Creative Ranking points from two award shows in 2020 (D&AD and One Show).

Providiong great competition to Dentsu Inc Tokyo is TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo who retain their #2 ranking. TBWA\Hakuhodo scored 3980 Creative Ranking points coming, within 400 points of Dentsu in top position after trailing them by 1,995 points in our 2018 Creative Rankings.

TBWA\Hakuhodo accumulated 1775 Creative Ranking points in 2018, and actually out performed Dentsu over 2019 and 2020 so far with 1280 and 925 Creative Ranking points.

Geometry Ogilvy Tokyo continued to rise up the Creative Rankings and now sits at #3 in front of Hakuhodo Tokyo, who move down one place to #4 with 915 points.

Hakuhodo Kettle Tokyo also continues to rise, moving up two spots to enter Japan’s top 5 just 35 points behind Hakuhodo Tokyo.

Six Inc holds onto #6 with #725 points.

Grey Group Tokyo scored #7 position after being unranked in 2018.

Moving up the rankings by 15 places SHA Inc took out #8.

Only 10 points separates R/GA & Beacon Leo Burnett in #9 & #10 positions.

This year TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo creatives take out 9 of the top 10 positions in Japan’s Hottest Creatives 2020 ranking.

Newcomer to the Creative Rankings, Shohei Ooishi amassed 1260 Creative Rankings points to finish in #1 position in Japan.

Equal #2 goes to TBWA\Hakuhodo’s Takeshi Matsuda and Yo Kimura who trailed only 70 points behind Ooishi.

Tomoko Kasugai takes out #4 with 1150 points.

Big improvers Yosuke Sugioka & Keisuke Shimizu move up from equal #60 in 2018 to #5 and #6 positions.

Shuhei Tsuji enters the rankings for the first time at #7.

Top creative performer Yoshihiro Yagi from Dentsu Inc Tokyo moves down three places from 2018 to #8 position.

Takuya Ozaki and Kana Takarada from TBWA\Hakuhodo take the last two places in the Top 10.
